Big thanks to everyone who attended our very first RisingStarz event in Tokyo! It was incredible to see so many influential people from the startup, VC, government, media, education, and corporate industries come together under one roof. This kind of synergy and collaboration is exactly what we need to help Japanese startups “Go global”.
We were honored to have special guest speakers Yoichi Ito San and Ikuo Hiraishi San, who shared their invaluable experiences and stressed the urgency for Japanese startups to swing for the fences and expand internationally.
And we have exciting news! Ikuo Hiraishi San announced the launch of a new accelerator startup fund dedicated to supporting this cause. We’re thrilled to partner with Ikuo San and his incredible team to co-found this exciting initiative, Go Global Catalyst (GGC). With the support of all industries in Japan and our new fund, we’re confident we can help Japanese startups make their mark on the international stage.
